Keyshia Cole is in the studio, gearing up for her eight studio album due under the BMG imprint. She has been spotted in sessions with sought-after collaborators Lucky Daye, Elijah Blake, and Tristan Rice.
Cole, who has reconnected with longtime collaborator and musical father Ron Fair earlier this year, was seen in the studio with Daye over the holiday weekend. She hinted to her Twitter followers that the Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter did what needed to be done.

Rice caught some of the studio action with Cole on his Instagram, teasing “hits all over the place.” He received a writing placement on Chris Brown’s gold-selling Indigo album, which was released last year.

Blake, who is responsible for co-writing hits and fan-favorites for the likes of Usher and Cole, has been cooking up studio magic with the Oakland-bred songster since she announced work on her eighth album. The two recently collaborated on the remix of Blake’s new song “Bad Liar.”
