Luh Kel has his sights set on a third-quarter project release. The St. Louis native has officially announced L.O.V.E. (Loss of Valuable Emotions), the follow-up to 2019’s Mixed Emotions. It’s due out on October 23 via Cinematic Music Group.
Among the 14 tracks from the forthcoming project is “Want You” featuring Queen Naija. Kel described the duet in a statement as a “melodic hit that brings us back to what R&B has been missing.”
He added, “I am a young artist but I carry the torch for all those who were in this game before me. Having Queen Naija there makes it a perfect song.”
The charming softness in Kel’s voice magnifies the vulnerability he puts on display for a woman he can’t do without. Naija shares the same sentiments, expressing the unwavering amount of love in her heart for the man of her dreams.
Earlier this year, Kel released the remix to his song “Wrong” featuring Lil Tjay and “Y.O.U.”
As for Naija, she recently scored her third top 10 single for “Butterflies Pt. 2.” She also dropped a music video for her most recent track “Pack Lite.”
