Queen Naija is probably feeling a fluttery sensation in her stomach right now.
The social media star/singer has reached a new peak inside the top 10 on the urban adult contemporary radio chart with “Butterflies, Pt. 2.”
It marks her third top 10 entry on the urban AC sector, following her pair of number one hits “Karma” and “Medicine.”
Engineered by Mike Woods, Boston, and Pat McManus, the sequel to her 2018 platinum single has garnered over 5.4 million in audience impressions on the airplay format.
To date, “Butterflies, Pt. 2” has been streamed more than 5.6 million times on Spotify. Its fairytale-esque music video has over eight million views on YouTube.
Naija has released a handful of alternative versions of the track, including an unplugged rendition and a Wale-assisted version.
In other news, Naija recently shared a new single called “Pack Lite.” It is quickly becoming a fan-favorite, along with its Spike Tey-directed video.
