Queen Naija loves a theme, especially one that involves optional versions of songs (i.e. “Butterflies Pt. 2”). This time around, the social media sensation opts for an alternative video and selects her current single “Pack Lite” for the Queendom version.
In the new video, Naija teams up with director AlphaMale Visuals, where she retires the ideology of a housewife in the ‘60s from the previous Spike Tey-directed video. Here, Naija gains the confidence to set herself free from the toxicity of a previous relationship. You’ll have to watch the entire video to see why her ex will need lots of coins for the laundromat.
Naija shared in an Instagram post that the alternative visual was filmed ahead of the originally released video.
In other music news, Naija recently linked up with Luh Kel for his melodic single “Want You.” It serves as the lead single for his forthcoming project L.O.V.E. (Loss of Valuable Emotions).
On the chart tip, “Butterflies Pt. 2,” Naija’s current radio single, is still going steady on urban adult contemporary radio. It cracked inside the top 10 ranks of the same chart in August.
