Usher is coming to Las Vegas. The R&B legend has announced his headlining residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, with 12 performances lined up beginning on July 16, 2021.
“I have missed performing for my fans live and I am so excited to see them in Las Vegas,” Usher said in a statement. “My residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will be full of surprises and an Usher experience like they’ve never seen or heard before!”
Tickets will go on sale to the public starting Thursday, September 10, at 10 a.m. PT. Fan presale tickets will be available beginning Monday, September 7, at 10 a.m. PT until Wednesday, September 9, at 10 p.m. PT.
A portion of ticket sales will benefit Usher’s New Look, Inc. Foundation, which has a mission to “transform the lives of underserved youth through a comprehensive program that develops passion-driven, global leaders.”
In the meantime, fans can anticipate more new music from Usher very soon. According to a press release, his forthcoming ninth studio album is slated to arrive later this year via RCA Records. So far this year, Usher has released a video for his Ella Mai-assisted single “Don’t Waste My Time,” as well as released his bedroom banger “SexBeat” featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris, and his emotional tune “I Cry.” At this time, there is no word on which songs will make the final tracklisting.
In October, he will star in the Hulu original film Bad Hair, alongside Kelly Rowland and Vanessa Williams.
