Lucky Daye is not a one-note artist. Though R&B and soul are at the core of his artistic makeup, the Grammy-nominated has yet to become complacent when it comes to limiting himself from broadening his audience. Having said that, after recently working with Kaytranada (“Look Easy”), Daye teams up with London-based producer SG Lewis for a new track “Feed The Fire.”
A song about releasing one’s inhibition go to turn on a nightlife admirer, Daye glides his suave voice like feet across a slick club floor and delivers the goods to SG Lewis’ unending dance sound.
Earlier this month, Daye collaborated with Leon Bridges for a guitar-oriented track titled “All About You.” A month prior, the New Orleans native was spotted in the studio working with Keyshia Cole for her highly-anticipated eighth album.
In May, Daye shared a deluxe edition of his debut album Painted. It contained six new songs, including a Babyface-assisted track “Shoulda” and “Little More Time” with Victoria Monét.
