Xavier Omär teams with Mereba on “Like I Feel,” the third song from his forthcoming album, If You Feel. It was produced by the prominent go-to musician D’Mile, and it serves as the album closer.
Demonstrating his noticeable knack for duets, Omär’s graceful falsetto and plush harmonies mesh densely with the erotic voice of Mereba as they explore open-heartedness and sensualism in a psychedelic soul galaxy.
“Like You Feel” is another potent track to get music enthusiasts psyched about the new album, which arrives on October 23 via RCA Records. Like the DJ Camper-leadoff “So Much More” and the subtle summer jam “All Our Time” featuring Jae Stephens previously shared, Omär’s follow-up to last year’s Moments Spent Loving You is sure to create a lovely listening experience for the approaching cuffing season.
“This album means finding a moment for every emotion I may have, whether in love, friendship, or how I feel about myself, and allowing myself to fully feel that emotion even if it’s negative,” Omär said in a press release. “I need to feel the fullness of each emotion to either keep it with me or learn from it.”
As for Mereba, she released an acoustic version of “Heatwave” featuring 6LACK on Juneteenth.
