Months after dropping back-to-back singles and appearing on Dvsn’s third outing (A Muse in Her Feelings), Shantel May returns with a new song titled “Don’t Wanna Pretend.”
Across a dark moody production, crafted by Nineteen85 of Dvsn, May broods about the end of a crumbling romance. While her feelings are still 100 percent intact, she wants to cut things off before the possibility of reuniting in the future is nonexistent.
This spring, May dropped the chilled-out “It’s Better This Way.” She followed up with the Westside Gunn-assisted track “Until I Say So” in June.
