Alicia Keys will be the subject of a new YouTube Originals docuseries. News of the untitled series was revealed at the Television Critics Association (TCA) Winter Press Tour this week.
Produced by Will and Jade Smith’s Westbrook Media, the show is expected to peel back the multi-awarded musician’s many layers. Described as a “sick series,” Keys promises it will take audiences “on a real-life journey.”
A release date for the Keys’ docuseries has yet to be announced. It is, however, slated to arrive sometime later this year.
In music news, Keys’ current single “So Done” featuring Khalid is dominating the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart. It stands at No. 3 on the same chart.
“So Done” is taken from her last album ALICIA which was released in September 2020. She reissued the record before year-end with two additional tracks.
ALICIA was named one of the best R&B albums of 2020 by Rated R&B for being an artistic breakthrough for the global superstar. Revisit the praise here.
Also this year, Keys is reportedly set to appear on DMX’s upcoming album. He shared the details in a recent interview on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs podcast.
