This year’s Best Female R&B/Pop Artist H.E.R. celebrated her 24th birthday at the BET Awards with a live rendition of “We Made It” from her debut album Back of My Mind.
Beginning her knockout performance from the sky with a drum set, the Grammy and Oscar winner dabbled in multiple instruments to show why she has made it this far in her incredible journey.
Last week, H.E.R. earned her seventh number-one single on R&B radio and her sixth chart-topper on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart for her platinum-selling single “Damage.”
