Mary J. Blige has officially announced that her 14th studio album, Good Morning Gorgeous, will arrive on Feb. 11, 2022.
The anticipated LP will be released on her imprint Mary J. Blige Productions, in partnership with her newly minted deal with 300 Entertainment.
Good Morning Gorgeous comes nearly five years after 2017’s Strength of a Woman, which produced her record-shattering single “Thick of It,” co-written by Jazmine Sullivan.
The forthcoming release consists of the two new songs, “Amazing,” featuring DJ Khaled, and the H.E.R. and D’Mile-produced title track, which came out with a supporting video.

In a statement, Blige said, “Working on this new album has been so much fun. I’m excited for my fans to hear these first two songs to give them a taste of what’s to come. I’m grateful to all my collaborators and partners who have walked with me through this process and even more grateful to my fans who I hope have a blast with this new music.”
Blige recently told Tamron Hall about Good Morning Gorgeous, “I’m not cocky. I’m not arrogant. But I earned the right to say some things. I earned the right to say, ‘I feel amazing.’”

Two days after Good Morning Gorgeous makes its arrival, Blige, on Feb. 13, 2022, heads to Super Bowl LVI to co-headline the Pepsi Halftime Show performance.
Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Snoop Dogg will represent hip-hop on the SoFi Stadium stage in Inglewood, California.
