The Weeknd is everywhere. The Canadian hitmaker will appear in an upcoming Bart the Cool Kid episode of The Simpsons, voicing Orion Hughes and Darius Hughes. It airs March 20 on Fox.

Known for his love for skateboarding, Bart Simpson is followed in this episode making friends with a famous kid influencer, who happens to be a successful entrepreneur with his line of ultra-cool skatewear.

Unfortunately, Bart’s dad, Homer, is not a fan of their bond and rallies a group of loser dads to rain on their parade.

In a recent tweet, The Weeknd shared his excitement to be joining the cast. “Proud of this one,” he wrote on the post from his fan account.

Actor Michael Rapaport is also part of the episode, reprising his role as Mike Wegman.

The Weeknd is no stranger to the world of animation, having starred and debuted a new song for an episode of American Dad in 2020.

This summer, The Weeknd is heading out on his After Hours Til Dawn Tour in stadiums across North America. The trek kicks off on July 8 at Rogers Centre in his hometown of Toronto. Doja Cat will support The Weeknd as a special guest.

The Weeknd’s upcoming string of shows supports his 2020 LP After Hours and his most recent album, Dawn FM, which dropped in January.

Speaking on The Weeknd’s former album, its hit single “Save Yours Tears” was bestowed the IFPI’s 2021 Global Digital Single Award.
