Alex Isley has announced her headlining Marigold Tour, presented by Femme It Forward. She will be joined by LAYA, Gwen Bunn and Zyah Belle.

The 13-city tour kicks off Aug. 10 in San Fransisco, California. Isley and friends will travel across North America, playing in major cities such as Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and Toronto. The tour will wrap up Sept. 3 in Chicago, Illinois.

Isley’s Marigold Tour supports her latest album with Jack Dine of the same title. In an interview with Rated R&B, Isley shared what she hoped her listeners would take away after listening to the album.

“I hope there’s inspiration. I hope there can be healing or encouragement. I hope that it’s something that adds to the listener’s life,” she said.

Marigold contains nine tracks, including the Robert Glasper-assisted “Still Wonder.”

As for LAYA, she will be performing songs from her new EP, Um, Hello, out now on Warner Records. The EP includes a feature from rapper Fivio Foreign on “Brag.” LAYA told Rated R&B it’s her “personal manifestation song.” She added, “I’m saying in the hook, ‘I don’t wanna brag when I get the big bag.’ When I wrote this song, I did not have a big bag. I was broke and didn’t have anything.”

Aside from her newly released song “2manythings,” Gwen Bunn has been busy with collaborations. She most recently teamed up with Kenyon Dixon on “WYTD” from his latest album, Closer. In June 2021, Bunn appeared on Keep Cool’s compilation project, Songs From Scratch: Volume 1. A month prior, she released the video for her Faith Evans-assisted single “Between the Lines.”

Belle will be supporting her 2021 EP, Who’s Listening Anyway. It includes features from ROMderful, Innanet James, Aj Claire, Tempest and Nate Curry.
