Production duo The Colleagues have released their new compilation album, Love Lust Vulnerability.
The seven-track project features Raheem DeVaughn, Teedra Moses, Devon Culture, Lewis Sky and Devvon Terrell.
Love Lust Vulnerability captures some of the emotions people may experience in a relationship. There’s a song that represents each word in the project’s title.
KP of The Colleagues tells Rated R&B, “With every project I put out, I always want it to be relatable. The storyline for Love Lust Vulnerability is basically relating to the average listener that’s been in a relationship. We take you through the emotions we all have been or are going through.”
In terms of production style, he adds, “I don’t chase any particular sound. I just aim to put out quality music. I keep the albums short because I wanted to only put songs that I genuinely loved on here, all the way down to the outro.”
Love Lust Vulnerability is the follow-up to The Colleague’s Another Love Story (2019) and Love Dates and Heartbreaks (2020). “And Now,” the intro on Love Lust Vulnerability, briefly highlights some of the tracks featured on those two projects.
