Rising R&B star Givēon has announced his highly awaited debut album, Give Or Take, will release June 24 via Not So Fast/Epic Records.
“This album is so personal to me and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. Thank you for all of your love and support. It means everything,” Givēon said in an email to his fans.
The 15-track album will include the previously shared singles “For Tonight,” co-produced by Akeel, Jahaan Sweet and Sevn Thomas, and the Don Mills-produced “Lie Again.”
In March, the former track was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling more than 500,000 equivalent units.
“Lie Again’ is a story of wanting information, getting the information, and then regretting that you have that information at all,” he explained to Genius.

Give Or Take will follow Givēon’s 2021 compilation project, When It’s All Said And Done… Take Time. The project merges his first two EPs Take Time and When It’s All Said And Done, both released in 2020.
Givēon, who was featured on Rated R&B’s Artists to Watch in 2021 list, has amassed a great deal of success ahead of his first proper album.
Since breaking into the industry, he has earned seven Grammy nominations (including his contribution to Justin Bieber’s hit “Peaches“); three multi-platinum singles(“Peaches,” “Heartbreak Anniversary,” “Like I Want You“); seven gold certifications (including “All to Me“), a 2021 BET award for Best New Artist and much more.
Givēon is nominated for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist at the 2022 BET Awards. Hosted by Taraji P. Henson, the ceremony airs live Sunday, June 26, at 8 p.m. ET on BET.
