Durand Bernarr has announced his Step Into My Office Tour.
The seven-date trek begins on Aug. 1 at Vinyl in Atlanta, Georgia. Bernarr will play in other major cities such as Washington, D.C., Toronto, and San Francisco, before ending on Aug. 15 at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles, California.
Bernarr assured fans on Instagram that this is only the first leg of his Step Into My Office Tour and that more dates are soon to be announced.
“I’m coming to a city near you with my band ‘Tithes + Offering’ so I need y’all to #StepintoMYoffice,” Bernarr wrote. “And don’t panic. This is the first leg of the tour, so standby for a city near you if yours ain’t in the first number.”

Earlier this year, Bernarr released the music video for “Company,” one of the 13 songs from his praised 2020 album Dur&. He spoke with Rated R&B about the visual and teased about his next project.
“The new kind of just took a sharp left because I wanted to get maybe 20 songs altogether. I had about 10 ideas. I wanted to get with a band here in LA and I wanted to go to Dallas and to play with my guys who I’ve been playing with in [Erykah Badu’s] band.
I went to Dallas. We booked out a session and cranked out like 14 joints in five hours. Now, I’m piecing together the stories that I want to tell and how I wanna tell them. The music is really beautiful,” Bernarr shared with Rated R&B’s Keithan Samuels.
There is no release date yet for the untitled project. However, Bernarr gave himself a window to complete it. “My deadline [to finish] is this summer.”
He added, “With all this [music], I have more time to actually create lyrically and sonically with my ideas instead of trying to find who’s gonna be producing what. I’ve been wanting to just bop my shoulders and move my hips.”
Dur& was named as one of Rated R&B’s best R&B albums of 2020. The 13-track project included features from Kaytranada, Ari Lennox and Anna Wise.
Since Dur&’s release, Bernarr has worked on a variety of songs for different artists, including Elijah Blake, Aria Lanelle, Adam Ness, and Saint Floyd, to name a few.
