Rising singer/songwriter Leven Kali is hitting the road for his Let It Rain Tour. His first headlining tour is named after the title of his song that he shared in April.
The 12-date tour begins Oct. 28 at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California. From there, Kali will take the stage in major cities such as Portland, Toronto, Atlanta, and Chicago, before wrapping up Nov. 19 at Red Room at Cafe 939 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Tickets for Kali’s Let It Rain Tour go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Kali promises more news will be announced later this week. One can suspect it has to do with a future release that includes his three songs shared earlier in the year. It started in February with “EEK,” the most popular out of the trio. The intoxicating song has been streamed more than 1.6 million times on Spotify.
After releasing “EEK,” Kali returned with “Let It Rain.” The slick and groovy tune bags over 719,500 streams on Spotify to date. The woozy follow-up, “Everything I Want,” which dropped in May, totals over 443,200 plays.
Kali has released a collection of new songs since 2020’s Hightide, the follow-up to 2019’s Low Tide. The set featured appearances by Syd and Ty Dolla $ign, plus Smino and Topaz Jones, who appeared on a bonus track.
Solo music aside, Kali has been in a collaboration mode. First, he teamed up with Hablot Brown for “Longest Time,” and most recently, Biako for the song “Irreversible” featuring Van Hunt.
On top of all this, Kali had co-songwriting and co-production involvement in four songs from Beyonce’s Renaissance album, including “Alien Superstar,” “Plastic off The Sofa,” “Virgo’s Groove,” and “Summer Renaissance.”
The latter song is supposed to soundtrack a new Tiffany & Co. film that supports Bey’s LOVE YOURSELF IN LOVE campaign.
“Thank you @beyonce and @rickylawson_ for trusting me and pushing me and showing me how to reach the highest heights with grace, class, and most importantly with family. It’s an honor to be a part of this and feels even better to be here with my people,” Kali wrote on Instagram.
