Babyface is hot on the promotional trail for his forthcoming album Girls Night Out.

The Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and producer hit The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon stage on Wednesday night to perform “Don’t Even Think About It,” featuring Baby Tate. It’s the first televised performance of the yet-to-be-released song.

Supported by a live band and two backing vocalists, Tate, sporting a Grinch-colored fur, delivers a stellar performance of the dismissal anthem. Clad in all black, Babyface holds most of the set, strumming a guitar until he and Tate blend their voices midway.

“Don’t Even Think About It” will appear on Babyface’s new album Girls Night Out, which releases Oct. 21 via Capitol Records. It will mark his first album since 2015’s Return Of The Tender Lover and the first under his new record deal.

“I am extremely honored and humbled to be signing to a legacy label like Capitol. They have welcomed me with open arms and treat me like family,” said Babyface. “And, in the end, that is what it’s all about – doing what you love with people who have the same love for music as you do.”

Girls Night Out was led by “Keeps On Fallin’,” a collaboration that features Ella Mai. The Tevin Campbell-inspired song debuted in June and has soared to No. 1 at R&B radio. It reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart at the time of publication.

Two more singles were released from Girls Night Out, including “Seamless” with Kehlani and the Queen Naija-assisted “Game Over.”

Ari Lennox, Sevyn Streeter, Tiana Major9, Coco Jones, Muni Long, Tink, Angie Martinez and Lalah Anthony will appear on Girls Night Out.

“I am very excited about the upcoming album and everyone on it,” Babyface shared. “The process for it reminded me of when I did Waiting to Exhale and I’m excited for the world to hear.”
