Alicia Keys has another hit to add to her collection. Her Brent Faiyaz-assisted single “Trillions” moves from No. 2 to No. 1 this week at R&B radio.
The trunk-rattling tune garnered 2,105 spins this week in the U.S. with 8.5 million audience impressions, according to Mediabase.
“Trillions” first entered the top 10 at R&B radio in October 2022, securing Keys her 23rd top 10 on the U.S. radio format.
Co-produced by Faiyaz and Jordan Ware, “Trillions” is lifted from KEYS II, the deluxe edition of Keys’ 2021 double album, KEYS.
In addition to “Trillions,” KEYS II includes a feature from Lucky Daye (“Stay”), who also appeared on the original album on “Come For Me (Unlocked)” with Khalid.
KEYS II also includes a Black Coffee Remix and a Kaskade Radio Mix of her 2016 track “In Common.” Both remixes originally appeared on the Japanese version of Keys’ sixth album, Here.
As noted above, KEYS was released as a double album. The two-disc album consists of an Originals side that includes compositions that echo Keys’ signature sound and an Unlocked side, which includes remixed versions of the tracks.
“It speaks so much to just like there being no limits, which is what KEYS is all about,” Keys told Rated R&B about the Unlocked side. “It was all about imagining and dreaming in a way that just opened up the possibilities.”
Keys also talked about the inspiration behind her latest album. “It is an invitation for all of us to show up to ourselves and not hold back any part of ourselves,” she told Rated R&B. “I think a lot of us oftentimes feel like we have to dim it down and small it down. No, I refuse it anymore. I invite us all to refuse it because there’s a power and a special energy that we all have.”
Keys certainly didn’t hold back in 2022. The 15-time Grammy winner released three projects in one year, including KEYS II, Santa Baby and Apple Music Live: Alicia Keys. She also released a stripped-down version of “City of Gods,” which she dubbed “City of Gods (Pt. II).”

Santa Baby, Keys’ first Christmas album and first album on her label Alicia Keys Records, was released exclusively on the streaming service Apple Music. The 11-track album, led by the single “December Back 2 June,” featured four original songs written by Keys and seven covers of holiday classics.
“I love this music! It feels so good!” said Keys. “I picked each song based on my all-time favorites and I wrote the new ones based on real holiday emotions and stories.”
In December, Keys celebrated her Christmas album at her inaugural Holiday Masquerade Ball in New York City. She performed many songs from Santa Baby as well as some of her classics, including “You Don’t Know My Name,” “Fallin’,” and “No One.”
Following her concert, Keys released Apple Music Live: Alicia Keys, which included all 19 songs from her setlist.
