K. Michelle a.k.a. Puddin is set to perform at this year’s CMA Fest in Nashville, Tennessee.

“I’m so humbled and excited. I’m happy to announce i’m performing TWICE this year at the historic CMA Fest This year,” she wrote in a caption for a festival poster that features her photograph.

Puddin also shared why taking the CMA Fest stage means a great deal. “Last year I was in my place looking down at the fest crying because I wasn’t there. I heard the music and watched the performers from my window. I was so heartbroken I moved out that place. God’s timing is always the right time! Thank you @cma for having me.”

Puddin joins the performance lineup on Saturday, June 10, as part of the stacked talent hitting the Dr. Pepper Amp Stage and the Maui Jim Reverb Stage. She will play the former stage in the morning as a solo act, and then she will support Justin Champagne on the latter that afternoon.

Puddin’s upcoming solo set is one to attend. She will be performing music from her long-awaited country album. The untitled record will include material that had input from Billy Ray Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Morgan Wallen, ERNEST, and many others.

Additionally, Puddin plans to announce a special meet and greet. Details will be revealed at a later date.

The 2023 CMA Fest is incredibly special, celebrating its 50th anniversary. The four-day affair takes place June 8 through June 11 in downtown Nashville.

Previously announced artists include Jimmie Allen, Eric Church, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Breland, Jamie O’Neal, Chapel Hart, and many more.

Like previous years, the 2023 CMA Fest will be filmed and televised on ABC this summer. The show will be executive produced by Robert Deaton.

Circling back to Champagne, Puddin joined him this spring for the new song “Country Love Song.” An official video for the collaboration debuted a month later.

Puddin aside, K. Michelle has been releasing music from her highly-anticipated R&B album, I’m The Problem.

The LP includes the hit single “Scooch,” which topped Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart and R&B radio last summer. That feat marked K. Michelle’s No. 1 single on both charts.

K. Michelle recently issued two other singles, “You” and “Wherever The D May Land,” featuring Gloss Up. She accompanied both songs with visuals on the release day.

Regarding I’m The Problem, K. Michelle told Rated R&B, “I’ve been healing through this album. I have dealt with my relationship through this album. I have dealt with my relationship with my son through this album. I have dealt with where I want to go in my future through this album. I’m at a crossroads in my life right now.”

In a recent Instagram post, K. Michelle commented on the delay of I’m The Problem. “I know y’all have been on my head about my last R&B album. I think I’ve taken so long out of fear and my mental space.”

There are no additional details surrounding K. Michelle’s I’m The Problem. Her next album will follow 2020’s All Monsters Are Human.
