Singer Ravyn Lenae has announced that her debut album Hypnos will be issued on vinyl this spring. It will be available June 9 as a double LP for the first time.

According to Warner Music Store, Hypnos will be pressed on standard, black vinyl. It also can be purchased through Amazon. An alternative red vinyl will be available at Vinyl Me, Please (VMP). The price starts at $39.98.

Lenae released her first album on May 20 via Atlantic Records. The album was led by “Skin Tight,” featuring Steve Lacy. The collaboration soared to No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, giving Lenae her first chart-topper on any chart.

“Skin Tight” marked additional milestones for Lenae (and Lacy), including becoming the first artists to reach the top slot on the Adult R&B chart with their debut release since Ambré and Jvck James. Going No. 1 also helped Lenae become the second woman this year to reach the summit on this chart with their inaugural appearance.

Additionally, “Skin Tight” went No. 1 on R&B radio, Lenae’s first leader on this chart.

Back to Hypnos. Beyond Lacy, the album included features by Mereba, Fousheé and Smino. Lenae later had rapper Doechii hop on the “Xtasy (Remix).”

In December 2022, Rated R&B crowned Hypnos as one of the 30 Best R&B Albums of 2022. It placed No. 3 on the coveted list.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Lenae celebrated the one-year anniversary of Hypnos.

“When I first started this project the idea of a debut was so overwhelming. There were a lot of moments where I questioned my ability, my ear, my focus and my purpose,” Lenae wrote. “This album really served as a roadmap to me finding my voice in so many areas in my life — Learning to define my own thoughts and dreams and standing firm in them. I wanna thank you all for the messages you’ve sent me.. many of them stating how these songs found you at the perfect time in your journey. Thank you for being so open, kind, and gracious with your words, your presence at each show, and your support. I hope you’re able to keep coming back to these stories and find new meaning.”

Lenae will continue the celebration with a special Hypnos listening event. The limited-space event is on June 5 at Dolby Screening Room Vine Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. Ticket information is available at Lenae’s official website.

Later this month, Lenae is playing several U.K./Europe shows. First, she is set to perform at the Core Festival on May 27. From there, she will hit the stage at Cross The Tracks Festival and Village Underground on May 28 and May 31.
