After postponing his Phases Tour, Arin Ray has announced new dates.
The North American tour kicks off March 3, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona, at Monarch Theatre. From there, Ray will play in Seattle, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and New York.
The Phases Tour concludes April 12, 2024, at Cervantes Otherside in Denver, Colorado.
Ray’s upcoming tour will support his Phases III EP, which dropped in October. The project is the third installment of Ray’s Phases EP series, launched in 2016.
“I wanted to have fun, be creative, and see what we could do,” Ray told Rated R&B about his mindset for the project. “The biggest thing we tried to do was be a bit more intentional with the records. I wasn’t trying to be as progressive, like trying to push the sound and be super musical. But I still got to play with some cool vibes and give you some new feels.”
Phases III is the follow-up to Ray’s sophomore album, Hello Poison, which was among Rated R&B’s Best R&B Albums of 2022 list.
“With solid pre-album singles, such as the seductive ‘Mood’ featuring D Smoke, Ray proved early on Hello Poison would be his most soulful album to date. Now, we know it’s his most vulnerable, too,” wrote Rated R&B’s Jakori Beauchamp.
