Aiko’s upcoming Coachella appearance follows the release of her latest single, “Sun/Son,” an ode to her and Big Sean’s son, born in 2022. The song follows her 2023 tracks, “calm & patient” and “alive & well (gratitude mantra).”
Monét, up for seven nominations at the 66th Grammy Awards, will support her debut album, JAGUAR II. The album includes her hit single “On My Mama,” which topped urban radio in November 2023.
JAGUAR II was ranked No. 2 on Rated R&B’s 25 Best R&B Albums of 2023 list. “The fully developed LP is a succinct display of where Monét has come from while laying the foundation of continued success for what’s to come,” wrote Danielle Brissett.
Chlöe will also support her debut album, In Pieces, which was among Rated R&B’s 25 Best R&B Albums of 2023 list. Later this month, she will be honored with the Generation Next award at the 2024 Urban One Honors. The star-studded ceremony airs Sunday, Feb. 25, at 8 p.m. ET on TV One.
As for Tinashe, she will be promoting her latest project, BB/ANG3L, released in 2023. Before Coachella, Tinashe will headline her BB/ANG3L Tour, which kicks off in February. Perhaps she may celebrate her debut album, Aquarius, which turns 10 later this year.
Tems dropped two solo singles in 2023, “Me & U” and “Not An Angel.” The former has more than 44 million streams on Spotify, while the latter, released in December, has surpassed 5 million streams on the platform.
Howard will embark on her headlining What Now Tour ahead of the festival. The tour is named after her second solo album, What Now, out Feb. 9. The tour begins Feb. 6 in Chicago, Illinois, and concludes at the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, on June 15.
Tyla will kick off the European leg of her headlining debut tour ahead of Coachella. The tour, as well as her Coachella performance, will support her self-titled debut album, out March 1 on Epic Records.
The album will include her platinum-selling single “Water,” which is No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 at the time of publication.
