Legendary R&B singer Toni Braxton and comedy titan Cedric the Entertainer have added more dates to their co-headlining Las Vegas residency, Love & Laughter.
Braxton and Cedric will perform seven new shows at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas through the end of the year.
The next run of limited-engagement shows begins Aug. 9 and concludes Dec. 21. Allo shows begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.
The original set of sold-out shows ran from April 27 through July 13.
“Comedy and song have been at the heart of the human communal experience since the beginning of time, and we are thrilled to join on stage to bring that experience to the Cosmopolitan,” Braxton and Cedric said in a joint statement. “We could all use a little more love and laughter in our lives.”

Aug. 9 isn’t just the date of the residency relaunch, it’s also the season premiere of The Braxtons on We TV.
The new reality series stars Toni, Tamar, Towanda, Trina, and Ms. Evelyn Braxton. The season will consist of eight one-hour episodes.
Per We TV, in The Braxtons, “Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Ms. E navigate careers, health challenges and busy personal lives while growing their family bond. Toni faces a critical health challenge as she prepares for her Vegas comeback.”
Further, “Trina starts therapy for PTSD. Towanda battles alopecia. Tamar focuses on her wellness journey. And Ms. E’s cooking show dream is becoming a reality.”
The Braxtons arrives three years after the series finale of Braxton Family Values, which aired seven seasons from 2011 to 2020.
“It is not overstating things to say this is one of the most significant developments in the history of We TV and a moment the fans have been waiting for since the final episode of Braxton Family Values aired on December 17, 2020,” said Brett Dismuke, We TV and ALLBLK’s head of content.
“The Braxtons are one of the founding families of reality television and We TV viewers were along for the ride through every moment of their original pioneering series, which spanned 148 unforgettable episodes. We are thrilled to welcome them back and once again be able to share these dynamic relationships and all the highs, lows, triumphs, setbacks and drama that fall in between.”
In music news, Toni Braxton’s last album, Spell My Name, was released in 2021. The album included her singles “Gotta Move On” featuring H.E.R. and “Do It,” both of which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
Braxton has 11 No. 1s on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, the second-most in history behind Alicia Keys (14).
