Coco Jones is feeling festive this holiday season. The Grammy-winning singer has released her new EP, Coco By The Fireplace, via High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings.
The four-track project consists of all original tunes, including “Santa Is Me,” “Call On Christmas,” “My Presence Is A Present,” and “String Of Lights.” Jones is the sole writer on the latter three songs, which were produced by Johnny “JT” Thomas Jr.
She co-wrote the focus track, “Santa Is Me,” with the song’s producers Joshua Antwon, Richard Wiggins, Theevoni, and DxnnyFxntom.
“My Christmas project Coco By The Fireplace is out now, I’m tryna bring yall all the emotions this holiday,” Jones wrote in an Instagram post.
Jones will continue to spread holiday cheer at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 28, where she will perform her Grammy-nominated hit “Here We Go (Uh Oh).” Chlöe, Jennifer Hudson, and T-Pain, are also among the 28 performers on the lineup.
On Dec. 4, she will perform material from Coco By The Fireplace on NBC’s Christmas In Rockefeller Center.
Coco By The Fireplace should tide over fans as they await for Jones’ debut album, which will arrive in 2025. The highly anticipated album will include the singles “Here We Go (Uh Oh),” “Sweep It Up” and “Most Beautiful Design” featuring London On Da Track and Future.
“Here We Go (Uh Oh),” which samples Lenny Williams’ “‘Cause I Love You,” is nominated for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards. Music’s Biggest Night takes place Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at Crypto.com Arena.
