Jacquees sure does have a fixation with beds. The multi-platinum artist reunites with Queen Naija for a new song titled “Bed Friend,” which outlines a story of how a pre-existing friendship turns into one with sexual benefits.
“Started off as best friends / Now you my bed friend / Whole big relationship, hope this don’t dead-end / My best friend that turned into my bed friend,’ he sings over the brooding production.
“Bed Friend” is Que’s second non-featured collaboration this year. In March, he linked up with Latto for the steamy banger “Freaky As Me.” Vedo recruited Jacquees for the melodic “For Me.”
Earlier this spring, the Atlanta native gifted his fans QueMix 4, which arrived on his 27th birthday. It follows his Exit 68 mixtape from last September. Both projects are leading up to Jacquees’ next album.
Naija isn’t stingy on the new music. In April, she dropped an expanded edition of her debut album, missunderstood. Around the same time, the rising singer earned a gold plaque for “Pack Lite” and put out a video for “Set Him Up” featuring Ari Lennox.
