With Jessie J and John Legend readying their respective Christmas albums, PJ Morton plans to unwrap his own festive release on November 9.
Titled Christmas with PJ, the New Orleans native revealed his “secret” plans to release a joyous collection of songs after Legend’s recent announcement. Morton shared his merry album will include six holiday classics and two originals.
To get fans excited for Christmas with PJ, Morton posted a snippet of a cover to “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which is originally penned and sung by Mariah Carey.
Ahead of releasing his impending holiday album, Morton will be on tour overseas promoting his Grammy-nominated album, Gumbo. He will return to the states and perform across the nation in 19-major cities with special guest Grace Weber.
Morton mentioned all songs from Christmas with PJ “are fair game on this tour.”
