Growing up in the church in New Orleans, Morton’s latest release words from his father, Bishop Paul S. Morton, about his upbringing and how he was surrounded by gospel greats like The Winans and The Clark Sisters.
Coming in at 13 tracks, Gospel According to PJ features some of the biggest names in gospel including The Clark Sisters, Tasha Cobbs, Yolanda Adams, J Moss, and more. The project also features a rare appearance from Grammy-winning duo Mary Mary on the track “All In His Plan.”
In other news, Morton recently dueted with R&B icon Ledisi for her latest single “Anything For You.” GAPJ is his latest release since The Piano Album earlier this year.
