Kaytranada has announced his first tour dates of 2021. Aptly titled the Autumn ‘21 Tour, the 17-date run consists of new and rescheduled festivals and other spot dates across North America, starting with Seattle’s Day In Day Out Festival on September 4.
The series of tour shows will take the gifted DJ and producer to San Diego, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, and Boston, before winding down on December 30 in Toronto at History.
Ticket details can be found on his official website.
On August 24, ahead of his tour, Kaytranada is co-headlining this year’s MLS All-Star Concert with Big Boi at The Torch in Los Angeles.
Earlier this month, Kaytranada appeared on Tinashe’s sensational new album 333. He also lent his talents to VanJess’ Homegrown EP back in February.
Between those collaborations, he took home his first pair of Grammys in March for Best Dance/Electronic Album (Bubba) and Best Dance Recording for “10%” featuring Kali Uchis. His former win crowned him as the first Black artist to win this award in the 16-year existence of the category. Get the full historic scoop here.
In June, Dawn Richard spoke to Rated R&B and chimed in on what Kaytranada’s win meant for the Black dance community. Read it here.
