Kali Uchis Recruits SZA for ‘Fue Mejor (Remix)’

SZA is not slowing down with the new music. The Grammy-nominated superstar teams up with Kali Uchis for the remix of Uchis’ “Fue Mejor.”

Singing in Spanish for the first time, SZA adds to Uchis’ kiss-off energy over the brooding production from the original version featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR. SZA sings about being done wrong in a relationship and the aftermath.

Arriving with a Daniel Sannwald-directed video, SZA performs her verse on top of a moving car while she and Uchis share an array of steamy scenes. Watch the video above to see what happens.

SZA has been keeping quite busy this year. She recently released the song “The Anonymous Ones” and its accompanying video for the Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack.

In August, she released three previously unreleased tracks on Soundcloud. The music dump included the fan-requested “Joni,” which she promptly released a video for, found exclusively on her Instagram account. Back in July, SZA appeared on the official Space Jam: A New Legacy soundtrack, with SAINt JHN on the song “Just For Me.”

In 2020, she released the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Hit Different” and the successful “Good Days.” Both could appear on her upcoming sophomore album.

Take a listen to Kali Uchis and SZA’s “Fue Mejor (Remix)” below, and watch the official video.
