It looks like 2022 is shaping up to be an exciting year for R&B concerts. Legendary R&B group New Edition has announced their headlining Culture Tour with special guests Charlie Wilson and Jodeci.

It will kick off on Feb. 16, 2022, in Columbus, Georgia, at the Columbus Civic Center. From there, the three acts will travel across the U.S., hitting major cities, including Atlanta, New York, Baltimore, Dallas and Las Vegas. The tour will wrap up on April 10, in Miami, Florida.

The tour was first teased earlier this summer when it was announced that New Edition had signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to represent them worldwide for touring, TV/film, theater and more. (They also hinted at a Las Vegas residency in 2022, as well.)

As for Jodeci, they recently signed a management deal with P Music Group. They now share the same management team as Wilson and Johnny Gill.

“Their music is a part of the soundtrack to our lives. As a fan myself, I know and share that feeling you get when you hear Jodeci and that special place it takes you to,” said the company’s CEO Michael Paran.

“Their fans have been anxiously awaiting their return and we are ready to show music lovers across the generations why they reign supreme as one of the most iconic R&B groups of all time.”

K-Ci, JoJo and Mr. Dalvin of Jodeci have each released solo material over the years. Last year, K-Ci shared two tracks “Jesus Saves” and “Tears in Heaven,” while his brother JoJo shared songs such as “In My Arms” and “Official.” Meanwhile, in 2020, Mr. Dalvin released “Good Timez.” This year, he returned with more tracks, including “And I,” “Inseparable” and “Love U Down.”

Wilson also made a musical presence in 2020. His two singles “Forever Valentine,” co-written and co-produced by Bruno Mars, and “One I Got” both reached number one on the R&B radio chart. He also collaborated with Smokey Robinson on “All Of My Love.” This year, he contributed to The United States vs. Billie Holiday soundtrack, as well as Jam & Lewis’ debut album.
