Podcast host Rory has released the new single “Don’t Go” featuring R&B singers Pink Sweat$ and Sinéad Harnett.
Rory, who does not contribute vocally to the song, co-produced it with Chiiild and Azad Naficy.
“Don’t Go” is rooted in emotions sparked by an intermission in a relationship.
Sweat$ opens the moody track, singing about being overwhelmed with sadness that his mate is gone but understanding love goes through trying times.
“All this pain that you’re gone / Got me feelin’ alone / Not the same, but it’s perfect / You know love get a little dirty,” he sings.
Harnett isn’t so convinced that her partner won’t make the same mistakes. She sings, “If you’re pullin’ me back, better push you away / But, still, you’re temptin’ me to stay / When you claim you’ll do better, but I don’t see the change.”

“Don’t Go” is the third release from Rory this year. In July, he issued “Not Me” featuring RAAHiiM and Shantel May as his second single. That same month, Rory made his debut with “I Want You But You’ll Never Know,” on which DRAM and Alex Isley appear. According to a recent Instagram post, all three records will feature on Rory’s upcoming album, which is coming soon.
As part of the album campaign, Rory developed a new content series inspired by the songs from the untitled record. He debuts episode three to coincide with “Don’t Go.” In the latest episode, he touches on gaslighting, truth, and honesty in relationships. Watch it below.
Sweat$ recently teamed up with Nakkia Gold for “Energy.” He released a new EP, Pink Moon, in January. It was the follow-up to his debut album, Pink Planet, which was among Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2021 list.
At the top of the year, Harnett released a deluxe version of her 2021 sophomore album Ready Is Always Too Late. It featured “Where You Been Hiding” as well as her rendition of The Isley Brothers’ 1976 classic “At Your Best (You Are Love),” which she dedicated to Aaliyah.
