The Weeknd has shared a new song, “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength).” It plays during the end credits of Avatar: The Way of Water, now in theaters.

On the flagship track, co-produced by Swedish House Mafia and Simon Franglen, The Weeknd wears his scars as badges of honor, defending the legacy of fallen loved ones until his final breath.

“The scars and the wounds / I wear them proud like tattoos / Reminds me that I lost you / Reminds me that I’ll be living this life so patient / Until I see you again, it’s war we’re facing / I know that if I died, my only choice is still defending,” The Weeknd admirably sings.

“Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” appears on the Avatar: The Way of Water (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), which is available now on streaming services. Actress Zoe Saldaña also contributes a song to the flick titled “The Songcord.”

The Weeknd has more coming in the world of film and television than Avatar: The Way of Water. The R&B star teamed up with HBO and HBO Max for a new series called The Idol. Dubbed “the sleaziest love story in all Hollywood,” the upcoming series stars Lily-Rose Depp and Jennie Ruby Jane. It will arrive in 2023.

Shifting back to music, The Weeknd made a big splash on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Creepin‘” last week.

The Metro Boomin-led track, which also featured 21 Savage, debuted at No. 5 on the main singles chart, making it the second-highest debut ever. It’s No. 13 at the time of the publication.

“Creepin‘” is taken from Metro Boomin’s newly-released project, Heroes & Villains. The Weeknd salutes Mario Winans’ 2003 classic “I Don’t Wanna Know” throughout the intoxicating track.

Starting June 10, 2023, The Weeknd will embark on the second leg of his After Hours Til Dawn Tour. He’ll play in stadiums in Europe and Latin America.

Kaytranada and Mike Dean are named special guests on select dates.

The Weeknd’s upcoming tour will support his latest album Dawn FM and its deluxe version, Dawn FM: Alternative World.
