Rising singer Tanya Nolan has released a new song, “Pace Yourself,” featuring Raheem DeVaughn. They co-wrote the song, while Cory Mo produced it.
With their powerful vocals intertwining, Nolan and DeVaughn tease their partner and remind them to take their time and enjoy this moment of passion.
“It was inspired by a love interest, whose connection was pleasurable, inviting, passionate and loving. A physical connection that runs immeasurably deep,” explained Nolan.
“Pace Yourself” is Nolan’s first offering of the year. She released two tracks last fall, the Cee-Lo Green-featured remix to her song “My Best” and a holiday single titled “What Would a Christmas Be.”

Those two songs came behind Nolan’s track “Good Woman,” released earlier that year.
“‘Good Woman’ is about a woman giving her partner all that she has; love, passion and attention, so that her partner feels loved and wanted, but clearly she is not getting that in return,” Nolan said.
With this newest release, Nolan confirms that fans can expect more this year.
“I’ve been working at my musical craft most of my life and have put out music before, but this time just feels different. I am in a space where I can follow my dreams freely, control my destiny and tell my own personal truth. I hope that my fans will relate to my stories and vibe with me on this journey,” Nolan shared.
DeVaughn kept his audience fed with music last year. He endorsed Bee Boy$oul’s Back 2 Love album, which was later reissued, and released the collaborative album From Lust Till Dawn.
Additionally, DeVaughn had success on the charts with legend Keith Sweat (“Can’t Nobody“) and joined The Colleagues for their compilation album, Love Lust Vulnerability.
