Bryson Tiller and Victoria Monét join forces in the name of love for Spotify Singles. The two R&B stars recorded a new version of “We Might Even Be Falling In Love,” a song featured on Monét’s 2020 EP, Jaguar.
Besides adding Tiller as a duet partner, Monét does not modify much from the horn-dripped track produced by D’Mile.
Tiller’s romantic coos are merely icing on the cake for those who longed for him to join this track after he shared a take on Instagram last year.
Speaking on the updated track, Monét says, “I’ve always wanted to extend the interludes from JAGUAR Part 1 and was so happy to hear Bryson liked this song enough to make it a little longer! Hope you all enjoy hearing his voice on it as much as I do!”
Since releasing Jaguar in 2020, Monét issued a Kehlani-assisted remix of “Touch Me.” Later that year, Monét gave Jaguar a seasonal touch with A Jaguar Christmas: The Orchestral Arrangements.
Around the same time, Jaguar was dubbed one of the 30 Best R&B Albums of 2020 by Rated R&B.
Monét released a pair of singles the following year, “F.U.C.K.” and “Coastin’.” She gave both tracks videos.
Last year, Tiller released a solo single titled “Outside.” The Vinylz-produced track was partly inspired by Ying Yang Twins and their 2005 hit “Wait (The Whisper Song).” It was the lead single from his forthcoming album.
“‘Outside’ is the polar opposite of what everyone is used to hearing from me. Normally we would release a song intended to put people deep in their feelings, but this song is ANTI-FEELS,” Tiller said of the track.
He accompanied “Outside” with a video directed by Edgar Esteves. Before that, Tiller collaborated with Sean “Diddy” Combs for the summer breakup anthem “Gotta Move On.” It went to No. 1 on R&B radio and Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. It marked Tiller’s and Diddy’s first chart-topper on the latter list.
Tiller last released an album in 2020. A N N I V E R S A R Y arrived on the fifth anniversary (Oct. 2) of his debut album T R A P S O U L.
He followed up with a deluxe edition of A N N I V E R S A R Y, on which Big Sean appeared. More projects surfaced later in 2021.
Tiller shared his Killer Instinct 2: The Nightmare Before mixtape and a holiday-themed EP, A Different Christmas.
