Alicia Keys makes her first appearance this year in the top 10 on R&B radio with “Come For Me” featuring Khalid and Lucky Daye. The collaboration moves from No. 14 to No. 10 this week. It has garnered more than 4.7 million audience impressions.
“Come For Me” is the second song from Keys’ 2021 release, KEYS, to hit the top 10 on R&B radio. “Best of Me” did so in December 2021, mirroring that victory on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. It peaked at No. 8 on the latter list.
Earlier this year, Keys landed a record-extending No. 1 on R&B radio and the Adult R&B list with the Brent Faiyaz-featured “Trillions.” It spent two weeks atop the latter chart, beginning the week that ended on Jan. 28. The song appears on KEYS II, the extended version of KEYS.
On Billboard, “Come For Me” has reached No. 11 at the time of publication. If it enters the top 10 on its Adult R&B chart next week, Keys will total 24, pushing her closer to Mary J. Blige’s record for the most top 10s, with 25 to date.
Keys released two visuals for “Come For Me.” The first one, released in December 2021, has amassed more than 2.2 million views on YouTube. Meanwhile, the second one, which debuted in July 2022, has over 1.6 million views on YouTube.
As mentioned above, “Come For Me” is lifted from KEYS, the continuation of her 2020 album ALICIA. In a 2021 interview with Rated R&B, Keys explained the concept for KEYS, which is divided into Originals and Unlocked.
“It is an invitation for all of us to show up to ourselves and not hold back any part of ourselves. I think a lot of us oftentimes feel like we have to dim it down and small it down. No, I refuse it anymore. I invite us all to refuse it because there’s a power and a special energy that we all have,” Keys stated.

KEYS II appeared in August 2022. The sequel to KEYS included new features from Daye (“Stay”) and Faiyaz (“Trillions”). Around that same time, Keys joined the latter crooner for his lauded 2022 sophomore album, Wasteland.
Next month, Keys will support KEYS II, as well as her previous material on a Latin America leg of her Alicia + Keys World Tour. The Live Nation-produced trek starts at Jeunesse Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, on May 3. Tickets are available now.
