Singer, songwriter and producer Brent Faiyaz has announced a third leg of his F*ck The World, It’s A Wasteland Tour, ringing in 2024 with dates in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Leg three begins Jan. 9, 2024, in Melbourne, Australia, before hitting the cities Sydney, and Auckland, New Zealand.
After a small break, Faiyaz will resume the tour later in the month at The Garden Hall in Tokyo. He will round out the run on Feb. 1, 2024, at Capitol Theater in Singapore.
Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. local time, with general on-sale starting the next day on Oct. 20.
Faiyaz is currently performing sold-out shows across the U.K. and Europe to support his second album, Wasteland, which he released in July 2022 under his Lost Kids label. He will conclude those series of abroad shows on Nov. 20.
He will return to North America and play a two-night, sold-out residency at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
As noted above, Wasteland is Faiyaz’s latest album. The 19-track LP debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart. It also entered at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, thanks to its 88,000 equivalent units sold in the opening week.
Singles include “Wasting Time” featuring Drake and “All Mine.” The latter self-produced track marked his first solo No. 1 on urban radio. It also went platinum for tallying one million equivalent sales units.
Wasteland achieved platinum status in September, marking Faiyaz’s first album to sell over a million copies. He gained eight other awards at the same time, two of which were for singles from the album.
Amid his accomplishments, Faiyaz has released new music. In August, he collaborated with Coco Jones on “Moment Of Your Life,” which samples Nicole Wray’s 1998 hit “Boy You Should Listen.”
To coincide with his 28th birthday on Sept. 19, Faiyaz released “WY@.” The song has garnered over 10 million streams on Spotify.
All two recent songs are among his first releases on his newly created company ISO Supremacy/UnitedMasters.
