Summer Walker‘s new single “Heart of a Woman” has landed on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.

The soul-baring ballad opens at No. 28 on the chart, currently led by Mary J. Blige‘s “You Ain’t The Only One.”

“Heart of a Woman” now tallies Walker’s eighth entry on the chart. She made her first appearance on the airplay list with her 2019 hit “Girls Need Love” featuring Drake. The song spent two weeks on the chart, peaking at No. 29.

Walker’s personal best on the Adult R&B Airplay was with Usher’s hit “Good Good,” in which she is featured along with 21 Savage. The Mel & Mus-produced track, which charted for 60 weeks, spent six weeks at No. 1 in 2023.

Here’s a breakdown of Summer Walker’s entries on Billboard‘s Adult R&B Airplay chart, in order by peak:

  • “Good Good,” Usher, Summer Walker & 21 Savage, No. 1 for six weeks (2023)
  • “Unloyal” with Ari Lennox, No. 1 for one week (2022)
  • “Back Home,” Trey Songz featuring Summer Walker, No. 1 for three weeks (2020)
  • “Playing Games,” No. 2 peak (2020)
  • “Better Thangs,” Ciara & Summer Walker, No. 13 peak (2023)
  • “Come Thru,” Summer Walker & Usher, No. 27 peak (2021)
  • “Heart of a Woman,” No. 28 peak so far (2025)
  • “Girls Need Love” with Drake, No. 29 peak (2019)

“Heart of a Woman” is the lead single from Walker’s highly anticipated third album, Finally Over It. The forthcoming project will conclude the trilogy series that began with 2019’s Over It and 2021’s Still Over It.

The former album was certified 3x platinum in 2024 with over three million equivalent units sold in the U.S., while the latter LP reached platinum with one million units sold.

Still Over It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 166,000 equivalent units sold, earning Walker her first chart-topper on the popular albums list.

In other news, Walker recently partnered with Apple Music to launch a limited series radio show, Over It Radio. So far, her special guests have included Ciara, Sexyy Red, and Caresha.
