Someone call the fire Marshall.
Chris Brown has once again scorched his way to the number one spot on urban radio this era, as “Heat” featuring Gunna claims the peak position this week.
The Buddah Bless-produced track has garnered more than 26.8 million listener impressions at over 90 urban radio outlets since impacting the format back in late August.
A month of constant plays, “Heat” lit up the hip-hop driven airplay chart and entered the top 10.
The fan-favorite track is Brown’s second number one hit on urban radio this year. His Drake-assisted joint and platinum-selling single “No Guidance” took the pole position in August. The song also reigned supreme on rhythmic radio at the same time.
Both records appear on Brown’s gold-selling album, Indigo, which was released in June.
The reissued version of the LP contains 10 new songs with guest appearances by Rich The Kid, Sage The Gemini and Tory Lanez (who also appeared on the original track list).
Brown, who is appearing in the new film She Ball, could be taking home a few trophies for his Indigo album and its supporting singles later this month.
He snagged two 2019 American Music Awards nominations, including Favorite Male Artist — Soul/R&B.
Brown is also earned eight 2019 Soul Train Music Awards nods, racking up the most nominations of the year.
