Days after celebrating his 28th birthday, 6LACK brings the flames to New Music Friday with his finger-licking EP, 6pc Hot. The project comes nearly two years after his East Atlanta Love Letter album.
Two of the songs “ATL Freestyle” and “Float” were released ahead of the entire extended play and touched on his rise to fame and survival. Other tracks like the self-concerned “Elephant In The Room” and the post-quarantine vibe “Outside” dive further into the present mindset of the melodic songster.
6LACK samples Ari Lennox’s “Up Late” for the saxophone killer “Long Nights,” while he hits up rapper Lil’ Baby for “Know My Rights.”
In collaboration with Atlanta’s Goodfellas Pizza, fans who purchase a 6pc Hot meal will receive a bottle of 6LACK’s new hot sauce 600 Degrees. The special runs from June 26 through June 28.
