It’s hard to imagine that nearly six months have passed since concerts, music festivals, and other live experiences were temporarily put on hold. Nicole Bus puts her fans and other frequent showgoers back in the front of the stage with her new album Live In NYC.
The album consists of nine live recordings from her headlining The Arise and Shine Tour stop at SOB’s in New York City last year. The tour was in support of her debut album, Kairos, which received acclaim from Rated R&B. It landed on our year-end best albums list in December 2019.
Bus describes the live release as a project to hold fans over until “we can sing and dance together in person.” She also says, “a lot of blood sweat and tears was put into this performance.”
Live In NYC includes the spellbinding “Mr. Big Shot,” and her first number one R&B hit “You.”
