Just days after releasing her spicy new single “Hitman,” Kelly Rowland drops the accompanying music video.
Co-directed by Lloyd Pursall and Luam Keflezgy, the video shows Rowland enjoying herself at an extravagant mansion party. While the pregnant singer flaunts gorgeous looks throughout the visual, partygoers put on an electrifying dance sequence that brings the song to life.
“I’m so hype. I was inspired by sensuality and just the energy of the song,” Rowland in a YouTube Live broadcast ahead of the video premiere.
“Hitman” is lifted from Rowland’s forthcoming EP, K, which drops on December 4. The track was released in partnership with the NFL’s Songs of the Season initiative, which “highlights superstars and emerging recording artists of all genres, incorporating their music into game broadcasts throughout the 2020 season.”
K will also include Rowland’s Donna Summer-inspired disco jam “Crazy.” Rowland confirmed that there won’t be a video issued for the track. The EP will follow her 2019 triple pack The Kelly Rowland Edition. Fans are still awaiting Rowland’s fifth studio album, which would follow 2013’s highly underrated Talk A Good Game.
