When you align dvsn and Ty Dolla $ign, you’re bound to get some of the best music. That appears to be the case with their new collaborative mixtape Cheers to the Best Memories.
The 11-track tape features previously-released songs “Memories,” which reimagines a Silk classic, and “I Believe It” featuring the late Mac Miller. It includes additional contributions from YG and Rauw Alejandro.
Cheers to the Best Memories is dvsn’s first project since reissuing last year’s A Muse In Her Feelings at the top of the year. The standard edition placed inside the top 10 on Rated R&B’s best R&B albums of 2020.
Prior to inking a management deal with LVRN, the duo snagged their first pair of RIAA certifications last year.
Ty’s last album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign boasted appearances from Kanye West, Jhené Aiko, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, and many more. Since its release, he appeared on Raiche’s “Pick A Side (Remix)” and Ant Clemons’ “Appreciation” with 2 Chainz.
He’s also shared a “By Yourself (Remix)” video starring Tiffany Haddish. Watch it here.
