Queen Naija is all for giving her fans what they want. The rising singer, who recently celebrated her 26th birthday, shared a video for her fan-favorite track “I’m Her” featuring Kiana Ledé.
Starring as the owner of a hair salon called Her Cutz, Naija is a woman on top of business who’s uninterested in a man blocking her from her dreams. Ledé, a lead stylist, borrows a line or two from Janet Jackson’s notable role as Justice in Poetic Justice when a desirable client approaches her.
Between crisping hairlines and running the shop, Naija throws in some sultry choreography with her line of beauticians while Ledé stuns in scenes alone. The two get together again to glow in bronze.
Naija is currently on tour supporting her debut album Missunderstood, which she later upsized to a deluxe edition. Two tracks (“Butterflies Pt. 2,” “Lie To Me” featuring Lil Durk) from the LP recently were certified gold.
She also appeared in Ar’Mon and Trey’s “Chanel” video as well as Hitmaka’s new song “Quickie” with Ty Dolla $ign.
In July, Ledé released her Kehlani-assisted single “Ur Best Friend.” A supporting video arrived shortly after, which Kehlani directed. The song is lifted from Ledé’s upcoming album.
