Phabo heads out on his first headlining tour this fall. The How’s My Driving Tour kicks off Sept. 29 at DC9 in Washington, D.C.
From there, the Los Angeles-based singer will rock the crowd in major U.S. cities such as Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, and Denver. He’ll conclude the North American leg at The Echo on Oct. 23 in Los Angeles, California.
Phabo will take his How’s My Driving Tour across the Atlantic to perform back-to-back shows in London.
“My first headline tour ever and I so turnt up idk what to type forreal . IM FOREVER GRATEFUL 🙏🏾,” shared Phabo along with the tour announcement.
Joining Phabo for the U.S. run is LAYA, an emerging singer signed to Warner Records. She released an EP titled Um, Hello in April. To celebrate its release, LAYA spoke to Rated R&B about the project and much more.
Tickets for Phabo’s How’s My Driving Tour go on sale this Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. local time.
Phabo’s How’s My Driving Tour supports Before I Let Her Go, his most project. Released in July, a year after his acclaimed debut album Soulquarius, the five-song EP featured the previously shared title track and the syrupy “Achy.”
Again on Soulquarius, Phabo shared his first full-length on July 16, 2021, via Soulection. The set turned up on Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2021 list.
Earlier this year, Phabo attained two co-songwriting credits on Kehlani’s most recent album Blue Water Road. The two songs include “Tangerine” and “Any Given Sunday,” on which Blxst features.
