R&B-pop star Tinashe brought her “Nasty” song to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night (June 12).

Surrounded by a troupe of dancers, the California native delivered an epic performance of her growing hit.

This week, “Nasty” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 90. It’s Tinashe’s first solo entry on the popular singles chart and her fifth overall. Her last visit to the Hot 100 was her 2016 collaboration with Britney Spears, “Slumber Party.”

Released April 12, the viral track has been steadily rising across streaming platforms. At the time of publication, “Nasty” has garnered 30 million streams on Spotify. The sci-fi-inspired visual has been viewed over 6.3 million times on YouTube.

“I’m excited for everyone to hear my new song ‘Nasty.’ This is that all summer long kinda BOP!” Tinashe at the time of the song’s release. “It’s meant to make you feel sexy, confident, let loose and maybe even unleash some of that sluttiness inside you. We all need a daily reminder that we are our own muses, here’s the inspiration to embrace it.”

“Nasty” is the lead single from Tinashe’s upcoming album, BB/ANG3L PT. 2 — QUANTUM BABY, which will release this year on Nice Life Recording Company.

QUANTUM BABY is the sequel to her 2023 album, BB/ANG3L, which included popular tracks such as “Needs” and “Talk To Me Nice.”
