H.E.R. has earned yet another certification from Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
“As I Am,” lifted from her 2018 project I Used to Know Her, has reached gold status with more than 500,000 equivalent units sold. The song was co-written by Elijah Dias (Lonr.), H.E.R., Hue “SoundzFire” Strother, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman and Ronald “Flippa” Colson. The latter two also co-produced the track.
This year alone, the Oscar and Grammy-winning singer/songwriter has been awarded an RIAA plaque every month since May.
