Robert Glasper has announced his 2022 residency at New York City’s Blue Note Jazz Club. The four-time Grammy Award winner will embark on Robtober starting Oct. 4. He will perform 48 shows through Nov. 5.

“Robtober is back! This is year 4 of my residency at the legendary Blue Note in NYC!! Coming off the heels of the Blue Note Jazz Festival in Napa Valley, I can’t wait to see what this residency has in store! Let’s Go Robtober!!,” said Glasper.

Special guests set to share the stage for Glasper’s impending concert series have yet to be announced. However, tickets for Robtober are available on Blue Note Jazz Club’s official website.

Robtober follows Glasper’s presiding the inaugural Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley, a three-night affair in July at Charles Krug Winery in St. Helen, California. It featured performances from Chaka Khan, Maxwell, Thundercat, Ledisi and many more.

Like the latter event, Glasper will use Robtober to perform music from Black Radio III, his newly released album. The 13-track album was released Feb. 25 and features a stampede of artists, including Jennifer Hudson, Musiq Soulchild, Lalah Hathaway, India.Arie, PJ Morton, Yebba and many more.

Black Radio III includes the Grammy-winning tune “Better Than I Imagined” featuring H.E.R. and Meshell Ndegeocello, plus the “Shine” collaboration with D Smoke and Tiffany Gouché.

Glasper is gearing up for a deluxe edition of Black Radio III, debuting “All Masks” featuring Masego as the leadoff. It was released on July 28, a day before night one of the Blue Note Jazz Festival Napa Valley. The song was co-written and co-produced by Grammy winner Bryan-Michael Cox.

At the time of publishing, Glasper has not revealed the release date for the expanded version of Black Radio III.
