R&B star Summer Walker has partnered with Apple Music for a new radio show, Over It Radio.

The six-episode series, which premieres Friday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. PT, will air ahead of her upcoming third album, Finally Over It. (More on that later.)

According to press materials, Over It Radio will cover a variety of topics, including relationships, motherhood, friendship, and music.

The first episode will feature her friend and collaborator, rapper Sexyy Red, as a special guest. They will cover everything from their past collaborations to sharing their advice for a fan calling in seeking assistance with their relationship.

“My vision for Over It Radio is to create a safe space where I can own my own narrative and provide a platform for the women I admire in the entertainment industry to do the same. We discuss the topics that matter to them, without any hidden agendas,” Walker told Apple Music.

“Listeners can look forward to hearing powerful, accomplished women celebrating their successes, sharing their frustrations about what they’re ready to move on from and keeping it real about the challenges they face as women, mothers and entrepreneurs.”

As noted above, the premiere episode will be available on Friday, Dec. 13. Each subsequent episode will air weekly on Thursdays, with a break for the holidays. For fans who can’t tune in during its live broadcast, every episode will be available on-demand for Apple Music subscribers on Apple Music and Apple Podcasts.

Walker’s new radio show will build anticipation for Finally Over It, which will arrive sometime in 2025 via LVRN/Interscope Records. The album is the final installment of a trilogy she launched with her 2018 debut album, Over It, followed by 2021’s Still Over It.

Finally Over It will include the lead single, “Heart of a Woman,” produced by Tavares Jordan. So far, the song has peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart, tying with her other hits “No Love” with SZA and “Girls Need Love” with Drake.

In 2023, Walker earned her first No. 1 on the R&B Digital Song Sales for her appearance on Usher‘s “Good Good” with 21 Savage.
