Tamar Braxton has secured a new gig. The Grammy-nominated singer is now a new co-host of Dish Nation for its 12th season.
YouTube personality Jessie Woo also joins the team, comprising Da Brat, Headkrack, Gary With Da Tea and Tanner Thomason.
“I’m so excited to join the fun PERMANENTLY!! I’m so grateful to join such an AMAZING Awesome Cast @sosobrat @headkrack @garywdtea @gramoftan and @thejessiewoo,” Braxton wrote in an Instagram caption for a photo of her that welcomes her to the Dish Nation family.

Braxton accepted the co-host position after filling the role temporarily in February 2022. She made other tapings prior to this latest stint.
Since then, she has made more than a dozen appearances on the FOX TV syndicated entertainment show, even introducing her “Tea Time with Tamar” segment.
Braxton is no stranger to co-hosting a show. She was one of the founding co-hosts of The Real.
After departing from the now-canceled show, Braxton filled on The View and Entertainment Tonight, along with hosting her podcast Under Construction with Tamar Braxton and VH1’s To Catch a Beautician.

Braxton’s podcast, available across streaming platforms, was nominated for Outstanding Lifestyle/Self-Help Podcast at the 53rd NAACP Image Awards in 2022.
Earlier this month, Braxton was among R&B stars whose albums Rated R&B is anticipating this year.
Braxton shared an update on new music in September 2022 when she celebrated the ninth anniversary of her sophomore album, Love & War.
She wrote, “Trust me putting out new music hasn’t been easy for me- although an ENTIRE project was ready and then vanished into thin air.”
“I want you all to be just a little bit more patient while I start over, put my heart and soul into my new found feelings, finally feeling free enough to sing about the old ones and create new, better, memories with you all,” Braxton continued.
She confirmed in June 2021 that she was slated to release two albums.
“I’ve said this before, this is my best work yet, but this is my best Tamar yet, so therefore this is my super best work yet,” she told Entertainment Tonight’s Brice Sander.
“This is me living in my truth, being this new Tamar, this newfound relationship with myself, and I’m really loving the music that’s coming out of me now.”
Braxton last issued an album, Bluebird of Happiness, in 2017. The 11-song effort included two Billboard singles, “My Man” and “Blind.”
In 2020, Braxton secured a top-five hit on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart with “Crazy Kind of Love” (No. 2). The song was featured on the True to The Game II soundtrack, in which she starred.
